Gyp-Crete® 2000/3.2K

Location:
Kelowna, British Columbia

Scope:

  • 2,500 sq. ft. of Gyp-Crete® 2000
Architect:
John Woodruff, Architect

Overview: Gyp-Crete 2000 is an alternative to traditional sub-flooring with distinct advantages.

It's a gypsum cement that's poured over the floor's plywood decking. It completely seals the base of each room so houses are quieter, less drafty, and more insect resistant. And because Gyp-Crete® 2000 is made of noncombustible gypsum, it reduces the spread of fire.

You'll appreciate Gyp-Crete® 2000 because it eliminates nail pops (saving builders expensive "call-backs"). And its smooth, flat surface makes installation of floor goods a snap. Call 1-800-356-7887 for a free copy of the "Maxxon Procedures for Installing Floor Goods over Maxxon Underlayments brochure."

Gyp-Crete® 2000 was ready to walk on in 2-4 hours.

Maxxon provides underlayment, Gyp-Crete, gypsum concrete and other flooring underlayment products for new construction, remodeling and renovation.
